We were delightfully surprised to get an e-mail regarding one of our 1966 American LaFrance pumpers, which is currently being restored to its original condition by two individuals in Castle Pines, Colorado. KFD has a proud tradition of recycling our older, but still fully operational apparatus by selling engines we replace to departments that may not be able to afford new apparatus. Older KFD apparatus has shown up in Connecticut, Montana, Colorado, Arkansas, and even in Latin America.
