Earlier today, the Katonah Fire Department was dispatched to a motor vehicle accident (MVA) involving a rollover with reported entrapment. Upon arrival, Car 2213 met with NYSP and confirmed one party trapped inside. Shortly after, Car 2212 arrived on scene and assumed command. Millwood FD Car 2252 was also traveling in the area and assisted units on scene.

Rescue 17 and Engine 115 responded to Interstate 684 and successfully extricated the patient. The individual was then transported ALS by KBHVAC, to Westchester Medical Center.

Katonah units remained on scene for a short period to assist tow operators and manage traffic control.
