Late Thursday morning, KFD volunteers were dispatched mutual aid to a structure fire at a house on Boutonville Road South in South Salem. Ladder 39, Tanker 6 and Car 2213 all responded. Tanker 6 set up as a water source while the crews of Ladder 39 and Tanker 6 split up and assisted with the tanker shuttles and extinguishing the fire. KFD units were on scene for approximately an hour.
