Tuesday evening a little past 6:30 PM, Katonah Fire Department was dispatched to a motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Lakeside Drive and Cherry Street. A car had gone off the road and ended up on a stone wall bordering Cherry Street. Fortunately, the driver was not seriously injured. Cars 2211, 2212, 2213, along with Rescue 17 and Katonah-Bedford Hills Volunteer Ambulance Corps responded. A safe zone was set up while the driver was assessed, and subsequently placed in the ambulance. Units were on scene until about 7:40 PM.
