Wednesday evening at about 4 PM, Katonah Fire Department's Ladder 39 was called, along with other Northern Westchester County and Putnam County fire agencies, to assist with a structure fire at the Heritage Hills development in Somers. Ladder 39's crew assisted with extinguishment and overhaul at the scene. The ladder was then reassigned to Somers' Lincolndale headquarters to stand by and cover Somers Fire District while fire and law enforcement agencies completed their work at the scene.
