This past Friday, the Katonah Fire Department was dispatched for mutual aid to a 2nd Alarm fire in Somers. Initially, Ladder 39 was assigned to standby and cover the Somers Fire District but was later redirected to the scene for additional manpower. Upon arrival, the crew deployed a hose line to assist other agencies in battling the blaze. Ladder 39 operated for approximately three hours before being released by command.
