Tuesday evening at around 6:30 PM,, Katonah Fire Department Volunteers were dispatched to a brush fire on Golden's Bridge Road just north of Cedar Lane. Cars 2211, 2212, and 2213, along with Engine 115 and Tanker 6 responded. Command also had Golden's Bridge Fire Department dispatched mutual aid with an engine. Firefighters found the brush fire spreading its way up a hill behind some residences. A pre-connected hose line from Engine 115 was deployed and the fire was brought under control in about 10 minutes. Units remained on location for another 25 minutes or so dousing hot spots. The scene was cleared by about 7:30 PM.
