KFD's Annual Open House was a tremendous success, with a large, steady crowd of people taking advantage of fire truck rides, bouncy castles, a smoke simulation trailer, gear and equipment demonstrations, and, of course, the setting on fire of a wooden structure and its extinguishment by fire department personnel. The three-hour event also presented valuable fire safety souvenirs and information, and reinforced the National Fire Prevention Week 2019 motto: "Not Every Hero Wears a Cape. Plan and Practice Your Escape." We hope you enjoyed touring the fire house, viewing the fire trucks up close, and watching our members in action.
