On Monday, October 2, Katonah Fire Department's Ladder 39, Sergeant Scott Whalen and Firefighter Davide Palmeriniset up at St. Joseph's Church off Route 138 to render honors at the funeral of Golden's Bridge Fire Department Lieutenant Dominick Melillo, who passed away last week. Ladder 39 extended its ladder with the American Flag at the tip in a traditional fire department salute to a deceased firefighter. The Katonah Fire Department was honored to participate in the services, and we extend our deepest condolences to our fellow Golden's Bridge Firefighters.
